Testing out some pictures and posting! The first picture is G and M helping Alex with the garden...in this plot we have carrots and swiss chard. Thank goodness for the girls new LL Bean raingear.

Here is Rowan, Molly and Greta posing with the inflatable alien Greta got from the circus a few weeks ago.

Let's try this again!

I'm going to attempt to update this blog more regularly....since some people seem to like it. I have updated the pictures on the right and the description of the blog to include the newest members of our family - Zelda and Lacey. Who, it should be known, may be responsible for the lack of posts depending on how much sleep the mommies get!

It's a rainy weekend here in Maine and both older girls are out with their respective daddies now, while Lacey is napping and hopefully thinking about pooping and Zelda just had a snack (i.e., milk) and is thinking about taking a nap. I gave Lacey some apple juice/water today to encourage her to fill her diaper, since it's been nearly 48 hours and the poor girl is straining and grunting up a storm. Don't you just love posts by moms of infants...where else can you get so much talk about poop and diapers?

Greta has had a busy weekend, Friday night was the May Pole dance at her school and Saturday was her ballet recital. Molly started gymnastics on Thursday night and loved it!

Of course, I have pictures of all these events, I just need to download them and then I can post. Stay tuned!

More Stuff I Couldn't Make Up

By nature, Greta is an organizer and a rule-follower. I love this about her. One of my great hopes is that she'll be the voice of reason for my often impulsive girl as they grow older and some of Greta's amazing-ness will rub off on Molly.

The other day Greta wanted to organize her drawers, so she pulled everything out and refolded them and organized everything according to color. Here is the t-shirt drawer (take note of the pink shirts all together, the blue shirts, the white shirts...):

Here is the accompanying pants/shorts drawer - green with green, striped with striped, etc.

Now, in the shirt drawer, she labled under each color with the coordinating marker color, numbers 1-9 so she would remember which color goes where:

Have I mentioned how much I love this girl????
